Half Day: Nonprofit (MON-FRI ONLY)

Service Description

Half day rentals are ONLY available Monday through Friday This rental is available for one half day. Rent payment will be processed immediately to secure your date. A separate cleaning deposit is required as well, and can be paid at the time of your rental. Once the premises have been inspected and found to be in good condition, as outlined, and the key has been returned, the cleaning deposit check will be shredded. The cleaning deposit cannot be paid via credit card. If you choose to pay in person (check or cash only) then you will not have to pay the additional credit card processing fees. Lessee may cancel their reservation 30 days or more in advance and receive their rental fee in full, minus the online processing fee (if paid online). The rental fee will be forfeited if canceled less than 30 days in advance without reasonable cause. The Lessee will personally ensure that all individuals have vacated the premises by the time allotted on the agreement and that the premises are securely locked. The Lessee may pick up the key to the premises no more than 2 days prior to the rental date, unless otherwise arranged. The key is to be returned 1 day after the rental use, either during office hours or via drop slot, unless otherwise arranged. Building keys are the property of the Story City Community Center, and as such, shall not be duplicated. Central Iowa RSVP is the contact agency for the Community Center.
